--Definitions: by including the special operator "define:" with no space between it and the term you want defined the search will show you a list of definitions gathered from various online sources. “
define:baseball.”
--Calculator/Converter: The
calculator is available by using the search bar to compute your problems. You can also use it to convert measurements. For example, Type “2 + 2” and the Google Calculator will compute that to equal “4,” Or try “4 tablespoons to teaspoons,” and get 12 teaspoons. You can even type “2005 in Roman” and the Google Calculator will compute “MMV.” Type “6 feet to meters” and get “1.8288 meters.” Or type “speed of light in furlongs per fortnight” and get the computed response “1.8026175 × 1012 furlongs per fortnight.” Clearly so.
--To check the weather type “weather zip code” in the google search bar.
--Who Links to You: Some words, when followed by a colon, have special meanings to Google. One such word for Google is the link: operator. The query link:siteURL shows you pages that point to that URL. For example,
link:www.google.com will show you pages that point to Google's home page. You cannot combine a link: search with a regular keyword search.
--Travel Information: To see delays and weather conditions at a particular airport, type the airport's three letter code followed by the word "airport." For example, San Francisco International Airport updates can be found by searching for "
sfo airport." To check the status of a U.S. flight, type the name of the airline followed by the flight number. For example, to see the status for United Airlines flight 134 search for "United 134."

Google Bombing
Most people know what google bombing is by now. If you still don’t, you can learn about it
all here. For the most part, people set up links to certain places. Whatever words related to the links would move its ranking up in google searches. So sometimes words brought up interesting number one search results. The Google search for “Weapons of Mass Destruction” used to take you here. “These Weapons of Mass Destruction Cannot be Displayed…”“Miserable Failure” (along with “worst president”) used to bring the White House Biography page for George W. Bush.

Google Search bar answers questions
Some people went even above and beyond to find these answers, Type “
the answer to life, the universe, and everything” and get a humorous computed “42.” The answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything, as given by the supercomputer Deep Thought to a group of mice in Douglas Adams's comic science fiction series The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, is "forty-two". According to the Guide, mice are 3-dimensional profiles of a pan-dimensional, hyper-intelligent race of beings. They built Deep Thought, the second greatest computer of all time and space, to tell them the answer to the question of life, the universe and everything. After seven and a half million years the computer divulges the answer: forty-two.
