Factoids, Extras & Eggs:
1. Songs included on "With the Lights Out" are not included on this post (with the exception of those only on the DVD).
2. Three of the songs that appear on Bleach ("Floyd the Barber", "Paper Cuts", and "Downer") were recorded at Reciprocal Studios on January 23, 1988 with Dale Crover on drums. This session cost only $152.44 and was paid for with money Cobain had saved up from his janitorial job and a loan from Tracy Marander. This was also the first collaboration with Nirvana and Jack Endino, a producer seminal in the establishment of the "Seattle Sound." The other songs on Bleach were recorded at the Reciprocal Recording Studios in Seattle, Washington for $606.17 and a sandwich, by Jack Endino, in 1988.
3. Downer: was only included on CD versions of the album. Some international versions of Bleach also lack the song. As a result, the band added the track to their 1992 compilation Incesticide.
4. Blew: An earlier version of "Blew" with almost completely different lyrics can be found on the EP Blew and various bootlegs.
5. Love Buzz: The Bleach album version of Love Buzz was mixed differently and is missing a 10-second sound collage introduction put together by Kurt Cobain. That version is on the EP Blew.
6. The Blew EP also contains a different version of "Been a Son" than what is on the Incesticide album.<> Fear Factory made a cover version of School, Velvet Revolver made a cover version of Negative Creep. Machine Head made a cover version of Negative Creep.
7. Dave Grohl joins the band in October 1990.
