Review: D (6.13.07) Includes a two pg authors note, 5 page thank you's and 10 page snitbit of the First Commandmet. As his fifth book (and the fifth Scot Harvath story) I would have to say it wasn't all that great. Throughout the book the simple writing (there was a lot that wasn't talked about in my opinion) made you feel like a homophopic conservative frat boy. Examples like, the main character shoving tampons up a guys nose, then on the next page talking about how he has matured with age. Or the sentament of, how many more 9/11's must happen before citizens support the president, and having the main villain screwing boys. The perspective at times makes you want to say, oh grow up. But other than that the city felt so empty considering everybody was trapped. Plus I really hate the double spaced novels. When I can cover 170 pages a day on the bus commute...props to the writer in that he can write a lot of cheap books this way and make some cash.
