Cabot Cove, Maine - Deadliest City
This fictional city was the setting for 12 years of the TV show Murder She Wrote. Under the watch of amateur detective Jessica Fletcher (Angela Lansbury), Cabot Cove experienced 286 people murdered between 1984-1996. That's a murder rate of 95 per 1,000 people. In comparison, the highest murder rate of a real city is Caracas, Venezuela which is 1 per 1,000.

Lose Weight Calculate!
If I wanted to lose 10 pounds in two months, here is how to calculate. Multiply the pounds you want to lose by the number of calories in a pound of fat. (ex 10x3,500=35,000). Divide the total by days you'll diet. (ex 35,000/60=583). Then eat that many fewer calories each day.

Coffee Pot Upkeep - Eliminate Hard-Water Deposits
One a month add 8 oz of white vinegar to the water reservoir and run the coffee maker (sans filter) until half the liquid is in the pot. Switch off and let stand for an hour. Dump the vinegar, then run the machine twice with water only.
