Comments: B- (3.10.07) I borrowed this from a friend and watched at my leisure. The pop culture references from old commercials to internet junk are incredibly funny and weird to have feel so current. Some of my favorite unexpected moments in the first season include episode 1's moment when the Kool-Aid man smashes trhough the wall and the comment made about loving America by Peter in the blimp, Episode 4's final scene with Stewie's teeth fighting, and resolving to bite his tongue, and I like all of episode 5&6 (6 also has the if a tree falls bit). Season 2's episode 3's segments of Randy Newman singing and Stewie's tentacles not to mention the ending where JR was not shot...episode 5's where do babies come from, Norm McDonald as Death in episode 6, episode 12 when Peter scares his wife into dropping a glass, and Chris waiting in the car for soccer practice, Episode 14's Drugs are real, 15's Chris references monkey in his closet, 19's mind controlled conversation in the store - Stewie through Chris, and 20's Adam Carolla as death, Peter calculating 'This Many', Peter's long time hurt knee, and hulk music with Stewie.
