Factoids: (IMDB, Moviemistakes, Wiki) - For the most part, if the facts can be found on the DVD or booklet, I try to only note what I think has not been included.
1. In the German version of Sledge Hammer!, his gun has been named, "Susi."
2. During a motel raid scene in "Under the Gun", two adjacent room numbers - "86" and "99" are used. These are references to Don Adams and Barbara Feldon's agent numbers in the series "Get Smart" (1965).
3. In 1992, New Line Cinema discussed producing a feature film version of the show with its creator, Alan Spencer But New Line wanted the film version to be a parody of Lethal Weapon (1987) and its sequels with all new characters. Spencer passed. New Line's concept then became the basis for Loaded Weapon 1 (1993).

2. The 124 Animated Pink Panther Shorts which included theatrical shorts or made-for-television (ten television shows and three prime-time television specials) from 1964-1980, are all available on a 5-disc DVD release. See Wiki Episode Listing.
3. Son of the Pink Panther brings Blake Edwards' original Panther series (1-9) to a conclusion.
4. Fortunately, Steve Martin's involvement (10-11) was not a re-introduction, but rather a revival.

2. Pippi in the South Seas (1974)
3. Pippi on the Run (1975)

Swedish TV Series (1968): Fun-loving Pippi Longstocking, with her licorice-whip red braids and more freckles than there are stars in the heavens, stars in six episodes from the 1968 Swedish television series that predated the first Pippi feature film (indeed, these episodes were recut into that very feature). The irrepressible Inger Nilsson stars as Pippi, with Maria Persson and Par Sundberg as her pals Annika and Tommy.
Pippi Longstocking (1974): The first in a line of four Pippi Longstocking films follows the precocious girl (Inger Nilsson) as she takes over an abandoned house called Villa Villekulla, moving in with her horse and pet monkey, Mr. Nilsson. None of the neighbors know what to make of it -- especially Tommy (Pär Sundberg) and Annika (Maria Persson), the children who live next door. But the trio soon forms a fast friendship, and the good times begin!
Pippi in the South Seas (1974): In this second installment of the Pippi Longstocking series, Pippi (Inger Nilsson) gets word (courtesy of a message washed ashore in a bottle) that South Seas pirates have captured her seafaring father (Beppe Wolgers). With her best friends, Tommy (Pär Sundberg) and Annika (Maria Persson) -- and her pesky pet monkey, Mr. Nilsson -- in tow, Pippi hops a hot-air balloon and sets off on a daring rescue. Can she reach her father before it's too late?
Pippi on the Run (1975): In this third installment of the Pippi Longstocking series, Tommy (Pär Sundberg) and Annika (Maria Persson) are tired of taking orders from their curfew-loving parents -- especially when there are so many adventures to enjoy with their pal Pippi (Inger Nilsson). Deciding to run away, the siblings take pigtailed Pippi and her pet monkey, Mr. Nilsson, along with them, setting off on a string of wild escapades.
Pippi Goes on Board (1977): The last entry in the Pippi Longstocking series finds Pippi (Inger Nilsson) preparing to reunite with her seafaring father (Beppe Wolgers), who's been living it up as king of a magical South Seas isle. But before bidding adieu to her best friends, Tommy (Pär Sundberg) and Annika (Maria Persson), Pippi throws an offbeat birthday bash, causes bedlam at a carnival, creates the world's biggest snowball and hosts an unconventional Christmas.
The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking (1988): Pigtailed Pippi (
Tami Erin) returns for another round of merriment and mischief. After washing overboard during a ferocious storm, the titian-haired troublemaker drifts ashore (along with her talking horse and monkey) to a seaside village, where she proceeds to turn the town upside down with her high jinks and magic powers. But Pippi's pranks soon put her on a collision course with Miss Bannister (Eileen Brennan), the local social worker.
