Comments: B- (5.6.07 in the theater). It wasn't good, was't bad. I was hoping that they would wrap the goblin story up and used hobgoblin. Sandman was great but his story never really improved...they just beat the same info into you repeatedly. I wasn't thrilled that this was how they chose to bring Gwen Stacy into the storyline, her character is kinda moot now...and where I was salivating for Venom, but there was already too much going on and I felt that should have been a movie of and in itself. Unless of course, this was jsut a teaser for Venom popping out again, maybe with Carnage. Although, I really want to see some other classic characters first, like Mysterio, Lizard, Scorpion...The symbiote's introduction is way too complicated of a story to have fallowed, so this altered telling was ok, but had lot's of holes. Put the comic related bias aside, Raimi still did a splended job (I am sure there was pressure to have Venom in this).
