Please note that this posting is constantly updated. Games below with (X) link to current volumes available, while details elaborate my wish list. Red indicates games that may have legal issues preventing their release. Blue indicates games I would like to play.

(X) Activision Anthology vol. 2

Include 26 games available on "Activision Anthology-Remix Edition." Other games released on previous compilations include:

(X) Atari Anthology vol. 2

More arcade and 2600 games (especially the worst ever -
ET & Pac-man), maybe even 5200/7800 sections or individual compilations. As noted in the Vol. 1 posting, the first collection is missing the interviews with the original designers Ed Logg (Asteroids, Centipede), Ed Rotberg (Battlezone), & Dave Theuer (Missile Command, Tempest) which were presented on Digital Eclipses-PS1-Arcade's Greatest Hits: Atari Collection 1. I have been looking at lists and lists of games released and homebrew titles too, and even after cutting out ones with known legal issues and ones owned by other companies (like Movie Titles, Midway, or Sega, companies etc), there are still well over 500 titles. The Flashback 2.0 console included 12 games not in the first anthology compilation and a few homebrew titles as well. Click here for the rest of the games.

The only other game I can think of is19XX, but there are plenty more. Press

(X) Casual Games - Console Release (MumboJumbo)
Little
short online games have always been a huge draw to me. Kind of like modern day Tetris companions. So, I would love to see massive compilations appear on playstation...Not all of these games are correctly broken down by creator companies.

(X) ColecoVision Compilation
Where the heck is their compilation?
River West Brands worked with Telegames, Inc. and released disappointing handheld releases for Target. The collection released planed to include: Amazing Bumpman, Campaign '84, Cosmic Crisis, Gust Buster, Meteoric Shower, Quest for Quintana Roo, Roll Overture, Skiing, Strike It, and Tank Wars. Here are some other games that I know of, and the name of the publisher in parenthesis: 2010 The Graphic Action Game (Coleco), Antarctic Adventure (Coleco), BC's Quest For Tires (Coleco), BC's Quest For Tires II-Grog's Revenge (Coleco), Cabbage Patch Kids (Coleco), Cosmic Avenger (Universal), Dam Busters (Sydney), Destructor (Coleco), Frantic Freddy (Spectravideo), Frenzy (Coleco), Ladybug (Universal), Meteoric Shower (Bit Corp), Pepper II (Exidy), Rocky (Coleco), Slither (Coleco), Smurf (Coleco), Space Panic (Universal), Squish-Em Sam (Interphase), Tarzan (Coleco), Turbo (Coleco), Victory (Coleco), War Games (Coleco), War Room (Homebrew-Probe 2000).

(X) Commodore 64 Compilation
My two favorite games are the original 1983 "
Lode Runner," & "Agent USA." Because of the popularity of the 3 Atari 2600 Action Packs, Activision brought out an emulation package featuring the most popular Commodore 64. (The 15 games included: Hacker, Portal, The Little Computer People Project, Out, Top Fuel Eliminator, Alcazar Toy Bizarre, Rock 'n' Bolt, Park Patrol, Web Dimension The Great American Cross-Country Road Race, Master of the Lamps, Three other games were 2600 remakes)
There has also been a Plug N Play release which included the following 29 games: Bull Riding, Championship Wrestling, Cyberdyne Warrior, Cybernoid, Cybernoid II The Revenge, Eliminator, Exolon, Firelord, Flying Disk, Gateway to Apshai, Impossible Mission, Impossible Mission 2, Jumpman Junior, Paradroid, Pitstop, Pitstop 2, Ranarama, Silicon Warrior, Speedball, Summer Games (Pole-Vault, Platform Diving, 4x400 Relay, 100m Dash, Gymnastics, Freestyle Relay, 100m Freestyle, and Skeet Shooting), Sumo, Super Cycle, Surfing, Sword of Fargoal, Tower
Toppler, Uridium, Winter Games (Hot Dog, Biathlon, Speed Skating, Figure Skating, Ski Jump, Free Skating, and Bobsled), World Ultimate Champion A & B, Zynaps.

Gamasultra & Ferrago said that Yeahronimo Media Ventures, owner of the Commodore license, has announced its intention to return the brand to gaming. Yeahronimo will work with the Content Factory to form a new company, called Commodore Gaming, that produces software and hardware to exploit its back catalog of retro games. The new company will produce standalone Plug-N-Play TV devices (similar to the wildly successful Atari and Pac-Man self-contained units), as well as console software package compilations (Similar to Intellivision Lives or Atari Anthology ). Furthermore, the Commodore Games label will produce original game licenses as a more traditional games publisher.

(X) Donkey Kong Compilation
This 14+ Game Compilation could include: Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong 2, Donkey Kong 3, (Donkey Kong Classics), Donkey Kong Jr., Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong 64, Donkey Kong Country 2-Diddy's Kong Quest, Donkey Kong Country 3-Dixie Kong's Double Trouble, Donkey Kong Land, Donkey Kong Land 2, Donkey Kong Land 3, Donkey Kong Country-Legend of the Crystal Coconut, GB-Donkey Kong King of Swing, Diddy Kong Racing. Obviously I would want this to be availble on multiple platforms, with commercials, box scans, interviews etc.

(X) Intellivision Returns!

Releasing a grand total of
115 games; (51 by Mattel, 21 INTV Corp, 7 Activision, 3 Atari, 8 Coleco, 2 Dextell, 14 Imagic, 2 Interphase, 6 Parker Brothers, & 1 Sega). and by removing those who most likely would have licensing issues (the 26 from Activision, Atari, Coleco, Imagic, & Sega) and the 68 games already released on Intellivision Lives! Collection, would bring the remaining grand total (115-26=89-68=) to 21 games. Not much, but enough to satisfy a volume 2. The following 29 games have appeared on the Xbox version of Intellivision Lives!, The PC Intellivision Lives!, & the PC Intellivision Rocks! (Rocks was released with some games that have legal restrictions): Advanced Dungeons & Dragons-Treasure of Tarmin, Alpine Skiing, Big League Baseball, Crazy Clones (Homebrew), Empire, Go for the Gold, Grid Shock, Happy Holidays, Land Battle, Learning Fun I, Learning Fun II, Major League Baseball, Melody Blaster, Mind Strike, Mr. Basic Meets Bits 'N Bytes, NASL Soccer, NBA Basketball, NFL Football, NHL Hockey, Nova Blast, Number Jumble, PBA Bowling, PGA Golf, Space Cadet, Takeover, Triple Action, U.S. Ski Team Skiing, USCF Chess, World Series Major League Baseball. Add another batch of interviews, boxes etc, and more old homebrew games. Press Official, Funhouse, All Games, Software

(X) Konami Compilation
On March 2007, the new release, Konami Classics Series Arcade Hits (IGN, Gamespot) slated for Nintendo DS, compiles these 15 games: Basketball, Circus Charlie, Contra, Gradius, Horror Maze/Tutankham, Pooyan, Rainbow Bell/Twinbee, Road Fighter, Roc'N Rope, Rush'N Attack/Green Beret, Scramble, Shao-lin's Road, Time Pilot, Track & Field, & Yie Ar Kung Fu. Special modes let players listen to more than 100 classic songs and sound effects and review the history of each title in the compilation, complete with trivia and vintage artwork. But, alas this collection is still rather small, and only on a handheld system.

Here is a compiled list of previous releases from, Konami

SNK Classics Collection
Not an official title. SNK is debating whether it should re-release SNK classics as a collection on PS1 or PS2, with a back catalog of over one hundred games. Retro Gamer says there are about
30 PS classic games. Neo Geo/SNK Games include (25): Aero Fighters 2, Alpha Mission II, Art of Fighting 2, Burning Fight, Crossed Swords, Double Dragon, Eight Man, Fatal Fury Special, King of Fighters '95, Last Resort, Magician Lord, Mutation Nation, NAM 1975, Ninja Combat, Pulstar, Riding Hero, Samurai Shodown 2, Samurai Shodown 3, Sengoku, Sengoku 2, Super Sidekicks 2, Super Spy, Viewpoint, Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer, World Heroes 2.

(X) Taito Legends 3
68 Games. They have come this far, and with so many games, they may as well at least make a trilogy. As mentioned in the UK Vol. 2 release, most of the games are from the Japanese releases Taito Memories Joukan (vol 1) & Gekan (vol 2). The only games not included in Vol. 2 from those releases are: Cadash, Mizubaku Daibouken, & Bubble Symphony/Bubble Bobble II. I am a huge fan of Arkanoid, and hopefully they will include them sometime along the way. Other Taito games include: American Horseshoes, Aqua Jack, Arkanoid, Arkanoid 2, Arkanoid-Revenge of DOH, Arkanoid Returns, Tournament Arkanoid, Ashura Blaster, Big Event Golf, Birdie King, Bubble Memories, Bubble Memories-The Story of Bubble Bobble III, Champion Wrestler, Chase HQ, Cuby Bop, Darius, Dead Connection, Dino Rex, Double Axle, Dynamite League, Extermination, Fighting Hawk, 40-0 (Forty Love), Galactic Storm, Galaxy Wars, Galaxy Rescue, Gunlock, Hit the Ice, Kageki, Kick & Run, Kick Start, Kram, Kyuukyoku Tiger, Matt Mania, Megablast, Ninja Warriors, Pirate Pete, Pop N Pop, Puzzle Bobble 3, Puzzle Bobble 4, Psycho Soldier, Puzznic, Rally Bike, Rastan III-Warrior Blade, Rayforce, Renegade, Samuri Nipponichi, Scramble Formation, Sea Fighter Poseidon, Silent Dragon, Solar Warrior, Sonic Blast Man, Space Cruiser, Space Dungeon, Special Criminal Investigation, S.R.D.
