After Clerks X & Mallrats 10th Anniversary, word arose that an anniversary edition of Chasing Amy was under way. It may come out in 2008 where an additional disc of extras added and including the original disc release. Dogma could have one in 2009 which would be great if it also included 2001's Judge Not In Defense of Dogma, a Q&A and plenty other bonus materials. Jay & Silent Bob Strikes Back could in 2011, and Jersey Girl in 2014. Although, I would warmly welcome earlier releases! Clerks II only contained 10 of the 75 Train Wreck clips. I once had 2000's animated Clerks Uncensored, hated the cartoons, but loved the supplementals...I got rid of it...but if the rumor of the movie is true, maybe they will make an even better release with more extras (that I would go get). For a while Smith hinted at the idea of Dogma II, but has since said that elements of that became Jay & Silent Bob. Whereas a potential sequel to Clerks may or may not happen until he is in his 40's, I wouldn't mind diving back into the Mallrats world for a sequel. My enthusiasm for the Porno & Slasher flicks are very low, and honestly, Chasing Amy & Jersey Girl were fine in my book. There was rumors (from the new Mallrats disc) that another anniversary Mallrats disc would be coming with more content (they left out some from the first, and planned to add more) but this is still pending.
Jersey Girls extras include 2 Commentary Tracks, From Mallrats to Jersey Girl Featurette 27:07, Behind the Scenes of Jersey Girl 16:20, & 2002's Roadside Attractions from Leno (New York 5:31, Orlando 5:28, Tampa 5:24, Seattle 5:08, and the Jersey Girl Set 6:51).
Chasing Amy extras include a Laser Disc Commentary, DVD Apology Opener 2:50, Ten Deleted Scenes with Intros 39:00, Outtakes 5:15, Egg, Theatrical Trailer, and a Liner Note Booklet.
